The TRANSWAGGON wagon fleet has a continuous modernisation, maintenance and planned inspection programme. Drawing on decades of experience in rail freight operations and services, everything is in a state of continuous improvement.
TRANSWAGGON has its own system to collect technical data for all the rolling stock. There is continuous dialogue between our customers and the teams in charge of Safety Management Systems at the railway undertakings. These programs ensure the continuous technical and functional improvement so essential for customer support, and are ready for any amendments to industry standards in Europe.
Continuous technical and functional improvement Any new requirements are collected, checked and implemented in new projects and through improvements to the rolling stock already in service. Responsibility for this lies with the TRANSWAGGON engineering and project team, which stays in close contact with wagon builders and maintenance partners. Preventive and corrective maintenance is also logged, managed and certified for compliance with European regulations for the Entity in Charge of Maintenance (ECM).
