TRANSWAGGON wins Shippeo Visibility Excellence Award Rail 2022

Shippeo, the European market leader for real-time transport visibility, has honoured TRANSWAGGON with its Shippeo Visibility Excellence Award Rail 2022. Shippeo staff presented the award at TRANSWAGGON’s Hamburg office in December. “We would like to recognise the carriers who are some of the best real-time visibility ambassadors out there, showing not just commitment, innovation and engagement but also undisputed levels of excellence in their field. So, for the mode of transport RAIL in the category “Visibility Excellence”, the winner is: TRANSWAGGON!” said Saurabh Srikanth from Shippeo.

Shippeo and TRANSWAGGON began working together in 2020. Their initial project enabled a well-known end customer from the paper industry to track its shipments in real time. TRANSWAGGON uploaded the geodata for the wagons used to transport the customer’s paper and pulp to the Shippeo portal.

TRANSWAGGON also uses the portal to receive orders from customers that are connected to Shippeo. More and more customers are using digital services such as real-time tracking. The partnership between Shippeo and TRANSWAGGON therefore helps to make them more competitive. The company has also expanded its freight wagon tracking service, the TRANSWAGGON Freight Buddy® GPS solution, by connecting to Shippeo.
